Joys of Self Employment

September 29, 2012

Here’s the tough part about my job: I don’t work, I don’t get paid. I almost never turn away any appointments and I like to stay as busy as possible, but somedays, some times, I am counting on that income 100%. My clients essentially pay my bills. No work, no paid bills. Sometimes having a Saturday free from work is a blessing, today, its a curse.

Tomorrow there is a trade show here in town that I have been planning to attend since I went to it last year. I was counting on today’s income to pay for tomorrow purchases. I will still go since I bought tickets, but now my purchasing power is lower. I may not be able to buy all the things I actually need, and spending money of frivolous add-ons probably won’t happen. So much for buying new products tomorrow.

This is so frustrating. I had a slower then usual month in September which also prevented me from going to an additional show next weekend. All of this means that I have to step up my marketing 100% to make it happen for me. I have to make me money because no one else will.

October will be busier and I will continue to be successful. I will this to happen.
