April 11, 2018

My dad is doing so much today! They have been reducing pain meds and he is no longer intubated. Huge progress! I am sure that he will be in the hospital for several more days. Then it is likely that he will be released to a rehab facility. I am so proud of him.

Today I am grateful for:

1) a slow work week during this emotional time.

2) that a brow wax for my friend means a tidied up Mohawk for me.

3) my mom’s willingness to be so candid and honest.
